After attending the ESSEC Business School, Mehdi started his career in 2002 in Morocco within the Family Group Kettani as Administrative and Financial Director, taking part in the creation of the Ekman Converting Group, a Joint-Venture of the Swedish Group Ekman & Co AB. He then accompanied the structuring of the Kettani Group (€5M turnover, 500 employees) and he served as CFO of the Group (10 subsidiaries in processing and paper wadding of cellulose, real estate) in Morocco and Western Africa (Ivory Coast, Mali and Senegal).
In 2007, he joined the General Confederation of Businesses of Morocco as General Secretary. He was promoted as Chief Executive of the organisation in 2008, managing this institution, contributing to the definition of the strategic guidelines for the designing and drafting of various national strategies in partnership with the Moroccan State such as the « Plan National pour l’Emergence Industrielle ». He received on this occasion from his Majesty the King of Morocco the insignia of “Chevalier de l’Ordre du Mérite”.
From 2010, Mehdi has been putting into practice his knowledge of the competitive issues in the MENA Region (including Dubai, Egypt and Lebanon) as Senior Advisor for key leaders in the aerospace and logistics sectors.
At Eurosearch & Associés, Mehdi brings his expertise to support the development of businesses in all sectors and investment funds in Morocco, in sub-Saharan Africa and more generally in the MENA Region. He is a key asset to support the development of governance and executive transition options, as well as diagnosis management, executive search and leadership assessments.
